Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, and India is embracing it like never before. Yet, despite its rapid rise, players often face the same challenge—finding dedicated facilities that are built for the sport, offer structured coaching, and foster a genuine sense of community.
Too often, pickleball is played on repurposed courts, with limited access to quality coaching, inconsistent playing conditions, and few opportunities for players to develop their game or connect with others who share their passion.
Stratos was created to change that.

Nirmal Kumar
Co-Founder & Head Coach
With over 25 years of international coaching experience in tennis and pickleball, Nirmal Kumar brings world-class expertise, leadership, and a deep passion for developing players at every level. Having coached aspiring athletes, tournament competitors, and high-performance players across India and overseas, he is dedicated to building a strong and sustainable pickleball culture in Chennai.
A former national and ITF Futures competitor, Nirmal continues to compete at the highest level and is currently ranked among the Top 20 players in the ITF Seniors Tennis Circuit. He is also a State Pickleball Champion and ranks among India’s Top 5 players in the 50+ category. Over the years, Nirmal has coached alongside and developed players who have gone on to compete at the highest levels of the sport. Today, he continues to mentor players of all skill levels through structured coaching, performance training, and community-driven programs in tennis and Pickleball. His vision for Stratos is to create a destination where players can learn, compete, grow, and experience the game through world-class coaching, premium facilities, and a vibrant community.
Sivaramakrishnan Narasimhan
Co-Founder
A passionate sports enthusiast and competitive pickleball player, Sivaramakrishnan Narasimhan brings strategic leadership, entrepreneurial vision, and a strong commitment to growing the sport in Chennai.
With an extensive background in financial services and product management, he combines professional expertise with a genuine passion for building an inclusive and thriving pickleball community.
A PPR-certified coach and one of India’s Top 10 players in the 40+ Singles category, Sivaramakrishnan continues to compete while championing grassroots and competitive player development.
His achievements include winning the GoRally Open 2024 (35+ Singles), reaching the National Championships Quarterfinals, and securing 3rd place at TNPPL 2025.
His vision for Stratos is to create a destination where players can learn, compete, grow, and experience the game through world-class coaching, premium facilities, and a vibrant community.
